Bloody footprints Truth Be Told’s latest episode feels quite a bit slower than its previous ones and unfortunately doesn’t bring a lot of development to the story. The finger still points towards Owen though as more evidence come to light, while we start to understand a little more about Lenie’s disturbed behaviour. The show definitely has potential but it lacks substance, with many of its subplots feeling half-baked and in desperate need of being developed a little more....

Gansu Episode 14 of Under the Queen’s Umbrella begins with us in the past, as Kwon bows before his mother. Kwon is actually Ik-Hyeon, and Yoon tells him to survive at any cost. With Master Toji (Yoo Sang-Uk) keeping this a secret too, the boy is swapped places with Seong-Seon, who’s told to serve the Queen well, as he’s switched with Kwon, who limps away with Sang-Uk. Seong-Seon settles right in to this facade, adopting the limp....

A Death In Oslo Episode 2 of Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2 features one of the more intriguing mysteries out of the six new cases. Oslo, Norway is the location and it revolves around a young unidentified woman found dead in a hotel room. A single gunshot killed her, presumably as an act of suicide. But why was she in Oslo? This whole mystery begins in May 1995. A woman checks in at a top luxury hotel in Oslo....

Viking Episode 2 of Vikings: Valhalla begins with Leif and Freydis talking about their fate while in shackles. Freydis feels like justice has been done. For Leif, he’s more concerned about their impending death. However, he is proud of her. The pair are eventually brought before the enraged Vikings, frothing at the mouth and with an enraged Olaf desperate for justice to be done. So naturally, Freydis suggests a trial by combat to settle matters....

The End of the Beginning Episode 8 of Vikings: Valhalla begins with Emma banished and forced back to Normandy. She doesn’t have a choice, given Aelfgifu’s influence. What is Aelfgifu’s plan? The potential coup is not going to go ahead after all, as she’s escorted out the room. Aelfgifu agrees not to send the troops to Olaf’s aid, but she refuses to divulge their position. Of course, all of this is the doing of Godwin, who continues to spin his political mischief in court....

Where There’s Smoke… Episode 1 of Virgin River Season 3 begins with Jack rushed into hospital. Oh no, is he going to be okay? Of course he will be, it’s a brand new season! We then fast forward three weeks to Ricky’s graduation. Jack is absolutely fine, all patched up from his gunshot wound. Mel is determined to make the most of this though, kissing Jack repeatedly and discussing birthdays. Specifically Mel’s, as she pleads with Jack not to tell anyone else about this....

Split Episode 7 of Virgin River Season 3 begins with Mel and the gang heading up to check on Lilly. She’s just had a seizure but she’s stable for the time being. Doc worries that the stress of her cancer diagnosis could trigger this again in the future. For now, they leave the family after this situation is dealt with in record time. Jack runs into trouble with his rebuilding plans when he learns there’s a spring under his house....

Mayday Episode 5 of Virgin River Season 4 begins with Jack taking control of the plane while Mel gives Brad some aspirin to stop his blood clotting. With the island 3 miles out, Jack lands the plane after calling in a Mayday. And as predicted, they land the plane, and Mel gets checked out by a doctor where they learn the baby is absolutely fine. Jack reassures Mel that everything is okay, as they decide to go home and get some rest instead of going camping....
