Also known as (the far less catchy) Going to You at a Speed of 493 km, this K-drama depicts the passion and affection for badminton from the eyes of a male and female protagonist, who work on a mixed doubles team. First up is Park Tae-Joon (Chae Jong-Hyeop) who ended up part of badminton thanks to his parents’ badminton equipment business....
Sang-Eun’s Dilemma Episode 12 of Love in Contract starts with Hae-Jin heading on-air and playing damage control. After beating down that biker, the questions turn to ask him about the stalker and his ties with Sang-Eun. Of course, this has now gone viral, and as a result everyone is in a precarious position. There have been various contenders over the years that have managed to deliver enthralling or original spins in the romcom genre, but Turkish movie Love Tactics is not one of them....

Hailed as the frontman of popular band Mumford And Sons, Marcus Mumford strips back here with his solo effort, an LP simply called (self-titled). The intelligent singer/songwriter pushes the boundaries of his talents, and on (self-titled), he grimaces, and he becomes angry at the world, and when the lyrics come in like little notes of truth and desire, they elevate the record. And Mumford has always been adept at writing lyrics which create suspense, but do not glorify happiness, as they are usually sombre....

While the first signs of Mi-Ran being interested in Dong-Chan finally appear, the former love interests of our two protagonists still manages to cause interesting rifts in their lives. The episode starts with Dong-Chan on the news, revealing to the world about the cryonic experiment he has been part of....

The Sacrifice Episode 5 of Mortel begins with Luisa and Victor kissing but are soon interrupted by Sofiane, who shows them a video of Modibo. Luisa explains that the man is not an initiated like his Grandma and is using the teens to speak to the spirits. It’s always 50,000 won and this, as it turns out, seems to be as a direct result of her dementia. Geu-Roo figures it out too and takes a lollipop, heading outside as he follows a location tracker on his phone. Only, in following a map app, his phone dies Thankfully he manages to make it back home where both Na-Moo and Sang-Koo stand waiting for him....
The Force is clearly strong with Disney+ this month as Obi-Wan Kenobi finally lands on the streaming service. Sting Operation Episode 5 of My Name begins with Gangjae stabbing Jiwoo in the leg. It’s a nasty, piercing blow and the twist that ensues gives off a sickening sound. However, all off this is a ploy to bring Mujin out into the open, as Gangjae takes a picture of Jiwoo and sends it on to him. Given Mujin has already been stabbed in the gut, he’s not exactly in a great position but he drives to meet his former subordinate nonetheless ....
