Tomorrow Episode 9 Tomorrow is the latest Friday/Saturday K-drama revolving around the afterlife and a group known as the death angels. With suicide rate spiking, the team stumble upon a downhearted, rejected guy called Jun-Woong. After saving a homeless man from committing suicide on a bridge, Jun-Woong runs into Gu-Ryeon and Ryung-Gu, two of the death angels on the crisis management team. Their objective is to save suicidal people, but when Jun-Woong slips into a coma, he finds himself part of the team....

When you dive a little deeper however, Top Boy is a fascinating social commentary on the issues facing Britain’s youth and just how seductive the drug trade can be. It’s incredibly realistic too, with a good use of colloqualistic language and a surprising amount of accuracy with the way it presents its ideas....

Zombie Trese episode 4 starts with more glimmers of the past, as we see a young Anton and Alexandra squaring off against Talagbusao, the summoned God of War from the blood ritual last episode. Unfortunately Anton is stabbed in the stomach for his efforts, but Alexandra manages to save the day and banish the creature whence it came. Back in the present, Guererro arrives at the station as he catches wind of a massacre....

Prelude Episode 1 of Trolley begins with a woman named Kim Hye-Joo at the police station looking for her daughter, Yoon-Seo. She’s at middle school and didn’t leave a note or anything before going. She and Yoon-Seo did have an argument before the latter left left, but she’s never disappeared or anything like this before. According to Hye-Joo, this is the first time this has happened. We then cut across to 13 hours earlier, at a Book Conservation studio....

After serving a 25 year stint behind bars, he’s exiled by his boss and instead, decides to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his old mob family may not have his best interests in mind, he slowly builds a crew to conquer Tulsa. If you’ve been following this one over the weeks, you may be curious to find out when the next episode is releasing....

It Takes Two Spanish movie Two (Dos) is, in its simplest form, a mash-up of Gerald’s Game and The Human Centipede. Lacking the visceral gore and shock of the latter and sporting a tepid mystery that pales compared to the former, Two is a bit of a misfire. The premise here is pretty straight forward and to the credit of this Indie flick, the team do everything they can to stretch that out as much as they can....

Writer’s Block Netflix have been on a roll recently with its Spanish Originals. From the deliciously twisty-turny mystery of Alta Mar across to teenage whodunit Elite, the catalogue extends far beyond this to include some real hidden gems, including The Ministry Of Time. This latest Spanish Original Valeria is not a particularly challenging watch but it’s a very specific show that rides the coat-tail of Sex and the City, but does so with little in the way of originality making for an average but enjoyable melodrama so far....

Back in LA, Steve is berated by Irene and his lawyer Cheryl for missing his deposition. 13 people are now suing him for racial discrimination, and Irene has run the numbers. If they don’t win the case, they won’t have enough funds to keep the club open. Steve tries to put the case from his mind and proceed with business as usual. When he signs off on calendar proofs at the print shop, he decides at the last minute to print 200,000 more calendars than he originally planned....

I fell in love with the first season and I actually seem to be in the minority in that I really enjoyed the convoluted nature of season 2. Théâtre Des Vampires The season 2 finale ends this year’s edition of What We Do in the Shadows in the best possible way. It rounds out all the big story threads we’ve had, ties in nicely to the first season and tops it all off with a wonderful dose of humour that ends this vampire series with an almighty roar and the perfect curtain call. The episode itself begins with Nandor awakening and no Guillermo in sight....
