Don’t worry guys, there’s no grandfather paradoxes, butterfly effects or the like here. It’s simple time travel. Try not to think too much about it! Erin decides to speak to her older self and try to make sense of what’s happening. 12 year old Erin learns more about her life in the future, including how she’s alone and single....

Matinee Episode 6 of Paper Girls starts with Erin and the other kids arriving at the club to meet the older iteration of Tiffany. The four show up at a big rave, so Tiffany decides to ditch the others and find her older self alone. After a quick reunion, older Tiffany is pretty nonchalant to her younger self being there and decides she should crash at her place. With tensions still high between KJ and Mac, the girls swallow their pride and follow suit....

The Crash Back for its fifth season, Peaky Blinders returns with Tommy on top of the world. Of course, in true Blinders fashion this happens to be short-lived as the Shelby’s face the toughest challenge of their lives, while Tommy continues to grapple with demons of the past. It’s fast-paced, gripping, endearing stuff and much like the previous seasons, Peaky Blinders gets off to a very intriguing and dramatic note. The No-Name Society Out of all the shows released this year, Pennyworth has been the one that’s caught me off guard the most. Convinced this series would feel like a cheap nostalgic thriller playing on the Batman name, this prequel spin-off has subverted expectations and been a really thoroughly enjoyable thrill ride thus far. Episode 3 is no exception, with another strong dose of characterisation and a teasing glimpse at what’s to come for our future butler....

A fun tactical RPG light on tactics Reverie Knights Tactics is a simple tactical RPG, one with a lot of potential that’s never quite explored as much as it perhaps should be. There is undeniable fun to be had in this 10-15 hour title though, with three acts of increasing difficulty and some satisfying battling. The game is held back by its archetypal characters and a battle system crying out for more depth than what we’ve given....

“Vengeful Spell” begins with a girl named Mint livestreaming on Facebook. She’s at school, insisting someone is following her. But no one comes to her aid. The next day, she’s found at school, dead. Someone, her face unseen, scrolls through Mint’s social media profile, which shows several pictures of herself and her boyfriend, Sun. “Sun’s ex won’t leave him alone,” the first post says. Putting her phone down, the mysterious person takes off her sock to reveal Mint’s name written on the bottom of her foot....

The Bunker Door Episode 14 of Sisyphus: The Myth begins with the gunshot piercing Sigma’s shoulder as he bolts from the apartment block and hurries away. Sigma is eventually picked up by a car and rushes out of view, as Seo-Hae watches him leave. When he does, Sigma (from the future) rings Tae-Sul and thanks him for helping time continue on like it always has. Tae-Sul eventually loses control, throwing the phone on the ground....

An emotional tale of two star-crossed lovers Romance has become inorganic in the present day which is why there is hardly any authentic present-time storytelling that tugs at your heartstrings. Bringing calm to the storm in people’s hearts about romantic movies comes Sita Ramam, a simple and emotional love story. Sita Ramam stars Dulquer Salmaan, the it-boy of the Indian Entertainment Industry as the main lead. Alongside we see Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Madanna in a story that narrates a simple yet complicated love story of Sita, Ram, and a little girl who changed the lives of these two star-crossed lovers....

Bryan comes around to mention a current problem with one of the cases for trespassing. He fears he might go to jail but Todd promises him he will convince his mother to fight it for him. Todd’s emotional connection comes by the virtue of helping someone out like him looking to get back on his feet after making a mistake. And also, because he was his best buddy in school....

Knick-Knacks and Doodads Episode 2 of Somebody Somewhere begins with Sam woken up by her next door neighbour doing woodwork. As Sam heads outside, bleary-eyed and half asleep, she tells him to keep the noise down. The thing is, it’s 12.30pm and Sam is still in her underwear. Her mum’s underwear, to be precise. After this awkward run-in, we do learn more about her neighbour later on in the episode. His name is Drew, and they’ve been neighbours for over a year but Sam has always been wrapped up in her own world and never bothered to say hi until this morning....

Fun nostalgia-driven sequel surpasses the original When Sonic The Hedgehog dropped its first trailer back in 2020, the internet was outraged at the hideous design of Sonic. And rightly so. God damn that was one horrific nightmare. In a rare case of studios actually listening to their fanbase, Sonic was subsequently redesigned and dropped in theatres to a pretty good reception from audiences. Critics maybe not so much, but as a massive fan of Sonic the Hedgehog (having collected a lot of the issues for Sonic the Comic and playing all the games) the first film did well to pay homage to the blue hedgehog....

A Disappointingly Bland Spider Flick Given how many people suffer from arachnophobia across the world, it’s surprising there haven’t been many really scary spider movies. With the exception of perhaps Tarantula and Eight Legged Freaks (and lets face it, they’re not THAT scary), there aren’t many that have grabbed the illustrious title of best spider movie (unless you count any of the Spiderman movies!) Itsy-Bitsy released several years back, doing a pretty admirable job but beyond that, there hasn’t been much movement on the spider front....
