It added some real tension and elevated what was otherwise an exciting episode into the stand-out chapter for this second season. Well, be prepared to be disappointed. Manifest throws all that good work out the window for an episode that sees a familiar face return unscathed and offers little substance during this 40 minute episode of pointless reflection....

A good but ultimately inconsequential TV short. As one of the most endearing characters from the Marco Polo series, One Hundred Eyes gets his own prequel in this 30 minute TV short that’s an interesting but ultimately inconsequential feature. With a story focusing on how One Hundred Eyes came to be the way he is, there’s some fascinating work put into crafting the back story. The feature is well shot but ironically feels rushed and too quick, juxtaposing with the sluggish pace inherent in the main show....
A Picture Called Melancholia Episode 4 of Melancholia begins in the aftermath of Gyu-yeong’s Photoshop fiasco. Yoon-soo’s relationship with her fiancée is somewhat strained and Seong-jae doesn’t enjoy hearing that there’s been gossip about Yoon-soo and Seung-yoo. He tells her she can quit teaching if it becomes too difficult. He also schedules a lunch appointment for the two of them with Vice Minister Shin without consulting her. Although Gyu-yeong apologizes to Seung-yoo, he’s still jealous of him....
