Copycat Episode 3 of Imitation picks up with Idols On Air as Ma-Ha performs La Ri-Ma’s dance. Well, Kwon-Ryeok joins in and dances with her, with the pair managing to remain in-sync throughout. The show is smash hit but after Ji-Hak arrives to meet the group, Kwon-Ryeok simply walks away. Ma-Ha follows and hands back his coat. Unfortunately he’s unaware that reporters are currently hiding out, snapping photos and watching all of this unfold....

A Watery Grave Episode 7 of Intergalactic shifts the focus to Kelp, a watery world where Emma is being held. The group of fugitives are here too, standing around on the rooftop of the hotel opposite, overlooking the Commonworld base. The group intend to try and break in stealthily but Echo has another plan. He wants to play poker and gamble their way into progressing with their mission. The winning prize is that of precious coordinates, which could be very helpful going forward....

The King is Dead Episode 4 of Invasion begins in England, with Casper and the other kids waking up on the bus. The driver is unresponsive and cold as they come to the realization that he’s dead. This is an ominous wake-up call, as the children contemplate just what to do next. There’s a real Lord of the Flies dynamic going on here, typified by Monty and Casper’s continuous bickering. Unfortunately Monty brings up the abuse in Casper’s home, and how he sat by and watched as his mum was thrown down the stairs and confined to a wheelchair....

Hope Hope is a pretty accurate title for episode 7 of Invasion, because any hope that this show would actually deliver compelling drama are dashed early on. The episode itself begins with Aneesha in her car with the family. Ahmed takes a turn for the worst, but Aneesha manages to patch up his wounds and use her medical knowledge to save his life. It seems to do the trick too, and as we cut to her and Ahmed the next day, Ahmed is now conscious and able to walk....

A Franchise-Killing Exploitation Of Nostalgia In a recent interview, Sam Neill claimed that “Jurassic Park III is a much better film than a lot of people say.” After watching Jurassic World: Dominion I agree. In fact, that film is cinematic magic compared to this Frankenstein’s monster of cobbled together nostalgia bait and poorly constructed set pieces. This is the Independence Day 2 of sequels; it clings to the coattails of what comes before but fails to meaningfully drive the franchise forward in interesting, clever or thought provoking ways....

The Runaways Episode 5 of Juvenile Justice starts with Eun-Seok out with A-Reum, desperate find the runaway girls. Seon-Ja is discharged from hospital and returns home, shocked at the devastation before her. When she finds out A-Reum is responsible, it’s an even tougher pill to swallow. With Eun-Seok there with them, the phone suddenly starts ringing. It’s Min-Gyeong. She’s managed to get away from the girls under the pretense of getting snacks....

A Poetic Finish Killing Eve has been quite the wild ride this season and unlike the first, the storyline has kept a reasonable amount of humour running throughout its run time. Even during some fo the darker moments in this final episode, Killing Eve is much more tonally consistent this year, making for a much more even-paced watch across the season. With the final episode, Killing Eve does end on another cliffhanger but delivers a thoroughly enjoyable episode nonetheless....

Kinnporsche Episode 11 Kinnporsche is a Thai BL drama adapted from an online novel of the same name. The central character here is Kinn, the second son of the mafia who finds himself running into Porsche while trying to escape. A business deal goes awry and he only just survives. Porsche is a college student who works as a barman part-time. He’s an orphan, who single-handedly looks after his brother Chay, as well as being known as an underground boxer called The Phoenix....

Episode Guide Episode 1 Episode 2 Korean Pork Belly Rhapsody is a new 2-part documentary series on Netflix examining the cultural and societal impact of – yep you guess it – pork belly. Although the documentary does tend to jump between different topics at a pretty rapid pace, anyone with a love for Korean food should be right at home here. With each episode clocking in at around 45 minutes or so, Paik Jong-Won narrates and guides viewers through the history of pork belly and its cultural impact on this amazing Asian country....

Alicia Sierra Enters The Game After 4 episodes of cat and mouse shenanigans, La Casa De Papel returns and sees the group out of time. The doors to the bank automatically unlock and the group prepare themselves for the assault. Smoke is launched into the building prompting Helsinki to man the machine gun while all the hostages, dressed in red coveralls and Dali masks, hit the balconies armed with machine guns....

A Compelling And Well Written Detective Game Aside from a graphic upgrade and a few new collectables, the re-released LA Noire on Playstation 4 is virtually the exact same game as the original when it was released back on PS3. For those who have already played the original, there really isn’t anything new or different to experience here unless you haven’t played through the DLC which comes included in this package....

Blood Bool Episode 2 of Lisey’s Story begins with Lisey going for a swim in the pool. The same pool, if you’ll recall, Amanda claimed was dangerous. Well, Amanda is seemingly consumed by her thoughts too, seeing visions of a sunset with a ship floating by. Kids aboard, including Lisey and Amanda’s younger self, they begin singing “boyfriends and gold.” On the dock, a strange faceless figure is shown twisting and creaking as it looks toward Amanda....

The Maze Episode 6 of Locke and Key Season 2 starts with Gabe showing up at Keyhouse. Kinsey is understandably rattled and when Tyler shows to back her up, it’s clear that Gabe’s Spidey-sense is tingling. Gabe does eventually leave Keyhouse as the gang gather together and try to formulate a new plan. Bode returns from seeing Rufus, revealing that there were two Dodge’s that night and it would appear as if the second was actually Ellie....

Free Bird Episode 6 of Locke and Key Season 3 sees the Locke’s rush away from Locke house. Bode is still outside though… but there’s a problem. It turns out Gideon doesn’t actually have all the keys so the portal doesn’t work. He senses that they still have one more key to collect, so Gideon tasks Bolton with heading off and questioning the historian (Josh) over the whereabouts of Nina. It doesn’t take long for Bolton to show up, holding Josh at gunpoint and demanding to know where Nina Locke is....

When he doesn’t, Smeagol murders him. Smeagol holds it in his hands and we see how he turned into Gollum over the years. Smeagol was abandoned by the community for murdering his brother and he wasted away in the darkness of dungeons to become this gangrel beast. Frodo’s falling health and Rohan’s victory Frodo is unable to sleep anymore. Smeagol takes them further. Sam rations the food for the journey back home, as Frodo sees that possibility grow unlikely by the minute....

Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 5 Set thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the series is based (very, very loosely) on J.R.R. Tolkien’s history of Middle-earth. This series is set during the second age, during a period of relative peace. We’re tackling the forging of the Rings of Power here, along with the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron and the fall of Númenor....

Dracula VS A Cat Sucker Of Souls is arguably one of the weakest episodes in Love, Death & Robots. The art style is suitably basic, acting as a nod back to early anime titles but the overall content of the episode is a little forgettable and the swearing and violence don’t really do enough to help it stand out. The episode begins with two characters on the run down a darkened tunnel....
