A Little Faith Heart Transplant Episode 6 of Away sees the spotlight turn to Kwesi as we dive into his past and see how he became a botanist. His adoptive father was a gardener and he’s doing this for his legacy. As we see from the past, Kwesi’s concerns primarily lie with religion and specifically why his family didn’t “have a God” compared to his adoptive father. Back on the spaceship, Kwesi runs into trouble when he notices the water supply is clogged up....

Bad Buddy Episode 12 Bad Buddy revolves around two best friends, Pran and Prat. Their fathers are engaged in a deep and raging rivalry, always trying to outdo one another. Comparing their sons’ achievements and merits, the two fathers continue to try and one-up the other. Unfortunately, this causes the two boys to become rivals too… at least to begin with. In secret, these two soon became friends… and potentially so much more!...

Premiered as the opening short at the beginning of The Incredibles 2, Bao is a beautifully written short film, one that taps into parental fears whilst injecting the right level of humour and emotional resonance to make it appealing to kids and parents alike....

The Mandarins The latest episode of Beautiful Love finally shows us a little more about what happened the night Joon-Gyeom hit an old lady and the beginning of Yu-Ra’s downfall. Our main characters are also getting close to the truth and when they realise just what happened, it’s bound to be quite explosive. Beautiful Love has managed to remain intriguing and enjoyable throughout its runtime, building up the tension and different dramatic scenes smoothly so far as it slowly heads toward a climactic finale in the next couple of months....

These Birds Don’t Fly Birds Of Prey is a mess. It’s an enjoyable mess but it’s a film littered with issues that are hard to ignore. Behind the visual facade of explosions, glitter guns and freeze-frame vignettes is a picture paper thin in both characterisation and compelling story-telling. Margot Robbie does well to prop the film up, and the soundtrack is excellent in conveying that female-empowering message the film smartly doesn’t shoe-horn in but Birds Of Prey attempts to position itself as DC’s answer to Deadpool and fails to pull this off in a competent way....

The Place I Lie Episode 5 of Black Bird starts with Jimmy walking purposefully through the prison. All the inmates stare a hole through him, but in reality it’s just his own paranoia. Jimmy is brought in for his regular meeting with Dr. Aaron Zicherman. Only, he’s not actually there, he’s on vacation. Instead, he’s confronted by Larry’s doctor. Jimmy is guarded and questions the new doctor, asking exactly why she’s filling in and knowing that Jimmy would be there....

Past and Present Episode 4 of Black Butterflies begins on the eve of Albert getting rid of Carrel’s body, dumping him in the basement. This behaviour, of course, has been in the works for a long time, which we see from the flashbacks to Albert’s life. Off the back of dumping their son in the graveyard, Sol and Albert’s life begin to fall apart. There’s not the same love there once was and ironically, Albert tries to force himself on Sol when she doesn’t want to....

Running In terms of content, the fourth episode doesn’t have an awful lot of plot progression but it does have a pretty well written journey for one of the survivors. Before we get there though, we see Sun and William emerge from hiding, deciding to travel East. Unfortunately, more zombies arrive and they’re forced to retreat back into the Diner again as the undead start banging on the windows. Back at the school, the fourth man that got separated from Spears tries to find his way out of the school only to wind up on the roof of the building....

And so it is with Blacklight, Leeson’s second collaboration with director Mark Williams after Honest Thief, another title that is the action movie equivalent of a budget microwave meal. And by that, I mean a badly made, mostly tasteless piece of junk with barely any redeeming value. Here, Neeson stars as Travis Block, a freelancer for the FBI who extracts undercover agents when they find themselves in trouble. So far so good, despite that silly character name....

The thing is, the real Yoon-Jae has been planning all of this way back during the time Sung-Hoon made him believe he was the murderer. Sung-Joon is starting to think that Sung-Hoon and Yoon-Jae were both accomplices working together. Sung-Joon tries to goad a confession, telling Yoon-Jae that should he stay loyal, then Sung-Hoon will get to live the good life out and about while he rots in prison. Sung-Joon relentlessly pursues this line of enquiry, and it would appear that everything – from the beginning with Man-Chun right down to the current issues – has been meticulously planned by Sung-Hoon....

A gripping watch hampered by an abrupt ending There’s something timelessly endearing about an adventure story. And even more so when it’s based on true events. From 127 hours to Jungle, across to the frozen slopes of Everest, there are a wealth of different movies to whet the appetite. With so many competing for attention in this field, it’s perhaps a tough ask for Polish movie Broad Peak to stand out....

Love Is In The Air Episode 12 of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls starts with Sang-Un and Hwal trying to find Eul-Tae, determined to stop him. We know how this ends; both Hwal and Eul-Tae will need to die together. Hwal is weakened from his earlier fight though and as he sits down to rest, Sang-Un urges him not to kill the evil other, suggesting he lock Eul-Tae up in the well forever....

Yoo-ra invites them to dinner, which Tae-moo accepts. He later apologizes to Ha-ri for leaving her on the road. At dinner, Tae-moo acts the part of the charming boyfriend. When the friends ask what made Tae-moo fall for Ha-ri, he says he knew she was the girl for him the moment he saw her. They are further charmed when they learn that Tae-moo is the president at Ha-ri’s company. Ha-ri and Tae-moo agree to stay at the hotel that night, and they have to share a room so Yoo-ra and the others don’t get suspicious....

Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong) struggles financially, so she readily accepts when her wealthy best friend Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah) offers to pay her for a favor. Ha-ri goes on a blind date in Young-seo’s stead to try and scare off her suitor. But he turns out to be Ha-ri’s boss, Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop). When Tae-moo wants to keep dating the fake Young-seo, Ha-ri has to come up with a way to keep up the facade and keep her job....

Pickman’s Model Episode 5 of Cabinet of Curiosities starts in Arkham, 1909. Rebecca has her portrait drawn by an aspiring artist called Will, who’s forced to make a quick getaway in the morning to avoid being seen by the woman’s father. Will attends university with other aspiring artists too, and they’re joined by an old man who has his portrait drawn. Will takes his sweet time, meticulously trying to get everything just as it is, but he’s transfixed by fellow student Richard Pickman’s work....
