Oh Goodie I’m The Winner Episode 6 of Killing Eve Season 4 begins with Konstantin and Eve arguing over Villanelle. With an arrow in her back, Eve believes she needs to go to the hospital. Pam takes the initiative though and just rips the arrow out right there and then. Villanelle tells Pam she’s impressed, while Eve contemplates Helene’s motivations. With the room cleared, Eve helps get Villanelle dressed, warning that Helene could well come after her again....

Blending different musical genres seamlessly together into the deliciously twisted sounds of Indie group Unloved, season 3 delivers another really good set of songs to accompany the series. With a season that’s largely been turbulent and full of questionable narrative choices and sporadic bursts of quality, the soundtrack this year certainly hasn’t lost its touch....

Kinnporsche Episode 8 Kinnporsche is a Thai BL drama adapted from an online novel of the same name. The central character here is Kinn, the second son of the mafia who finds himself running into Porsche while trying to escape. A business deal goes awry and he only just survives. Porsche is a college student who works as a barman part-time. He’s an orphan, who single-handedly looks after his brother Chay, as well as being known as an underground boxer called The Phoenix....

La Brea Season 2 Episode 4 When a massive sinkhole mysteriously opens in Los Angeles, a family are separated and whisked away into an unexplained primeval world alongside a bunch of strangers. In season 2, La Brea promises to whisk our characters up into a world completely different from what we’ve seen thus far. A lot of this centers on that mysterious tower that Rebecca led Scott to at the end of season 1, which could well have a significant role in season 2....

The Penultimate Push We begin the episode with the hostages released from the bank and given back; a fair exchange for bringing Rio back to the group. 3 days into the operation and floods of Dali-masked hostages are now free to go while Rio struts into the bank. Only, he’s got a wire on him and the police listen in on the reunion he has with the group. Sensing the upper-hand is theirs again, Sierra plans three separate ways to enter the bank....

A summer romance that outstays its welcome Last Summer is a Turkish film that takes all the usual tropes and tribulations of teen romcoms and does absolutely nothing to break free from the shackles of mundanity. Armed with a familiar story, some questionable dialogue and lots of dancing and partying, Last Summer is one of those movies designed to be watched without thinking too much about the plot. The little story that is here leans on a blossoming romance between returning 16 year old Deniz and his childhood crush Asli....

Meet The Dixits As we approach the halfway point of this dystopian Indian series, Leila slows in pace for its third episode as we see Shalini grappling with her newfound position and doing her best to try and find her daughter. We begin with Shalini on her way to a traitor’s house where a woman tells Shalini that Bhanu has been demoted because of her. At the house, she finds a box with Project Balee written on it which contains articles about missing mixed race children....

Aryavarta’s Fate The finale of Leila sees all the pieces come together in this final slice of drama this year, leaving many questions unanswered and setting things up for a sequel that may or may not arrive. While there are some nice plot beats here and seeing Leila’s changed persona is certainly unnerving, the stark contrasts between Shalini’s journey and June’s desperate struggle to get her daughter back in The Handmaid’s Tale are hard to ignore....

Costa Rica & Panama Time is continuing to slip away as episode 9 of Long Way Up begins with the boys finally receiving some good news. They’ve managed to get the green-light to fly, seeing them heading over to Panama via a ferry. There’s two planes – one of which holding our bikers and their bikes. The aerial views are spectacular, following the snaking river up as they eventually land. As they touch down at Buenaventura Airport in Colombia, the first part of their journey is done....

I Like Rain And I’m Not Talking about the Weather Episode 3 of Love In The Air starts with Prapai greeting Payu at his garage. Prapai wonders why he was so happy and thanks him for something that Payu does not understand. Payu wonders what is wrong with his friend as he thinks about Rain after Prapai has left. Rain is in class and he feels overwhelmed after looking at his monthly schedule for the next month....

Min-Kyung’s Past Episode 3 of Mad For Each Other picks up back in the park again as Min-Kyung claims her evidence as habitual blackmailing. As she walks away, Hwi-Oh wonders just what happened to make the girl this way. Well, the two begin a Wifi username war, sparking all the other residents to jump in too with their two-cents. Eventually Min-Kyung settles down to learn some Mandarin but when it tells her to repeat “help me”, it brings back painful memories of the past....

Enter Number Two Episode 3 of Mare Of Easttown begins with Mare and Colin working together, collecting clues to work out what happened to Erin. According to the coroner, Erin was killed between 12am-2am and thankfully there’s no evidence of her being sexually abused. However, bruises across her body are consistent with being beaten and the missing finger seems to be hinting toward a bullet wound too. Mare and Colin leave, going over what they know so far....

Poor Sisyphus Episode 4 of Mare of Easttown begins with our protagonist at rock bottom, sleeping in bed until late in the day. When she finally does get dressed, it’s just to puff a cigarette and meet Lori. She hasn’t told her family what’s happened yet and dreads the reaction she’ll get. Lori however, refuses to let her push everyone away and promises to stay by her side. Mare does eventually tell her family about the suspension, agreeing with the Chief’s request of attending therapy....

The Possession Episode 6 of Marianne begins with Ronan explaining that he has been going through all of Emma’s books and found horror passages that have become true in different countries of the world. Ronan thinks she shouldn’t write anymore but Seby disagrees and suggests that she should write about Marianne’s death in order to bring back his son. She decides to do that but falls asleep and has another horrifying nightmare....

Mission Complete? After last week’s climactic episode we return to Memories Of The Alhambra right in the thick of the action. Yu-Ra’s plan is shown in full, Jin Woo finally completes his mission and we see some pretty dramatic plot developments that help move the story along. With three episodes to go, we’re in the end game now and as the pieces begin to move a little faster, a few plot inconsistencies and an ever-growing number of questions seem to be cropping up....

Mental Coach Jegal Episode 10 Mental Coach Jegal is a sport drama about a former national athlete who becomes a mental coach to help former professional athletes who have retired or fallen into a slump. God Save the Queen of D Episode 7 of Minx begins with Minx doing the rounds and causing a massive stir at the university campus. Doug continues to stir the pot though, sending out copies in the post. With the second issue now released, Doug is incredibly happy with the reaction the magazine is having. For Joyce though, she worries that the publication is gaining too many criticisms and turning away the very people they’re trying to encourage to read the magazine....
