Sun-He is terminally ill, and she only has a few days left to live. Her partner, John, is distraught. John keeps up pretenses at work, given he’s a cleaner at Vought. He takes out a taser and knocks out one of the guards, subsequently taking their ID badge and breaking into the lab and taking a vial of Compound V....

Running Out Of Ideas The Complex: Lockdown is one of those typical Indie films that take a current big-news crisis and creates a movie inspired by that. A couple of months ago we had 5G Zombies and now, 2 months later, we’ve got a movie premise about a bio-weapon originating from South East Asia threatening life on our planet. It’s simple, very cliched and aside from a nice little twist near the end, offers nothing new that hasn’t been done before....

Dong-eun leaves the gym after congratulating Yeon-jin and promises to watch her broadcast. Meanwhile, Myeong Oh finally reports to work and Jae-joon asks him to find out what Dong-eun has been up to. Myeong Oh asks him if he slept with Dong-eun in the past and that annoys Jae-joon....

Between the tired, cliched story and disappointingly bad acting, across to the abundance of scripted jump scares throughout, this 75 minute film squanders what early potential it has with a really poor horror flick....

The Prison Ship The Mandalorian returns this week with another flavour of the week episode, one that does little to push forward the overarching plot but does do reasonably well to show off Mando’s personality and ingenuity in the face of danger. Beyond that though, there really isn’t a whole lot else to get excited about here, leaving big question marks around the acting, simplistic storytelling and general direction the show is likely to go from here....
Will They / Won’t They Episode 5 of Marvelous Mrs Maisel begins with Susie and Midge checking in to a hotel in Florida while Rose returns home to find Zelda and Shirley watching TV together. Back at the hotel though, Midge teaches Susie how to swim before she receives a call from Sophie regarding Gavin, and how she doesn’t want to work with him.
