Welcome To Biomutant It feels like a lifetime ago when Biomutant was announced. In fact, the first cinematic reveal was way back at E3 in 2017. Developed by Swedish team Experiment 101, Biomutant is a fun, open-world romp that suffers from a repetitive mission structure, an annoying narrator and a story that doesn’t quite hit as well as it could. However, the gameplay is undoubtedly moreish, although don’t expect to spend more than 20 hours with this one....

An absolutely gorgeous post-apocalyptic thriller Black Crab is a solid Swedish thriller, one that sports an interesting premise, gorgeous visuals and a pretty gripping storyline. Although the second half does tend to meander on a little and there will be mixed reaction to the ending, Black Crab does get a lot right. The story here feels like a mash-up of Children of Men and Saving Private Ryan. Set in a bleak post-apocalyptic world, two sides are at war, with Sweden hammered back and struggling to cope with this invasion....

A hilariously bad thriller January is often referred to as the “dump month” when it comes to big screen movies. Any new projects destined to fail, including ones from big studios are rushed out without much fanfare in the hopes that they’re quickly forgotten. It’s not all bad of course, but Brazen is a perfect example. And what a bad movie this is. Now, Brazen almost feels like a guilty pleasure in every sense of the word....

The Bomb Briarpatch is an artistic, interesting series, one that starts off reasonably well by easing into its plot with a couple of dramatic spikes while spending most of the time getting to know our various characters. While the murder case, so far at least, fails to really inspire that much excitement, it’s the artistry and drip-feed of information that’ll keep you coming back to this one to find out who the killer is....

Hye-Suk’s Sacrifice Episode 13 of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls returns to Sang-Un stabbing Hwal with a pair of scissors. She’s desperate for the truth but Hwal’s memories are fractured and obviously different to Sang-Un’s interpretation. When Hwal returns to his family, Eul-Tae’s words about him killing everyone echo in his mind. He immediately turns his attention to Hye-Suk, claiming she’s to blame for putting them in danger. Unfortunately, his language denotes that she’s not part of their family, so she packs up her things and decides to leave....

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Episode 14 Bulgasal: Immortal Souls is an epic fantasy and supernaturally charged k-drama. There are certainly echoes of Goblin and Arthdal Chronicles here so if that delightful blend sounds good, you’ll love what tvN have cooked up! The story centers on Dan Hwal, who was a human 600 years ago. Cursed by the being known as Bulgasal since birth, Hwal sets out on a revenge mission to reclaim his soul and end his epic revenge....

Still, Chairman Kang knows Tae-moo is seeing someone. He encourages Tae-moo to tell him; he’ll approve as long as his grandson likes her. Tae-moo promises to introduce her soon. Young-seo tells Ha-ri about how she’s going to break up with Seong-hoon. When the two of them see Seong-hoon and Tae-moo together, they get into a taxi and follow them. They follow them to an orphanage, where Seong-hoon’s mom introduces herself to Young-seo....

Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong) struggles financially, so she readily accepts when her wealthy best friend Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah) offers to pay her for a favor. Ha-ri goes on a blind date in Young-seo’s stead to try and scare off her suitor. But he turns out to be Ha-ri’s boss, Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop). When Tae-moo wants to keep dating the fake Young-seo, Ha-ri has to come up with a way to keep up the facade and keep her job....

As Capitani talks to the receptionist, she mentions Mick’s numerous affairs and how he can easily manipulate and deceive people. In return, Capitani breaks the truth about Carla adopting an alias. At the police station, Mick awaits sentencing after murdering Jerry....

These Wonderful Golden Dreams Episode 8 of Capitani begins with Luc Capitani out for his usual morning run while trouble brews at the military base. The Major is in possession of the USB stick and takes Frank off logistics. This is a major (no pun intended) problem for the soldiers, since they’re using the computers on the base to communicate with their dealers. Well, that afternoon the trio of soldiers work together to find their way back into the Major’s tent....

The premise is stupid, the characters are nuts and the plot completely bonkers but somehow Central Intelligence manages to deliver a pretty satisfying comedy that, whilst hardly memorable in the years to come, is a feel-good comedy and is good entertainment while it lasts. There’s some surprisingly smart writing that opens up questions about the psychological impact of bullying which is a nice touch but the main draw here is the great chemistry between Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson who both seem intent on making the best possible comedy....

Owner Of A Lonely Heart Despite the episodes themselves ticking by at a relatively slow pace, Into The Void begins Chambers right at the heart of the drama. Sasha is getting ready to meet with her boyfriend and at her house, mentally prepares herself as she plans to lose her virginity. When she visits her boyfriend, they start kissing but as thunder rumbles outside, Sasha’s heart inexplicably stops. As the scene fades out, we cut forward a few months where we find Sasha alive and well, albeit with a scar across her chest thanks to an emergency heart transplant....

A Complex Void The finale of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 4 starts as we catch up with the real living realm. Mrs Wardwell reads from Blackwood gospel about the void. We then cut to our three teenage couples having a make-out session and discussing what to do for Sabrina’s upcoming birthday. At home, Sabrina and Nick are interrupted by Morningstar bursting out of the mirror. Barely breathing, she tells them that the void is coming and will destroy everything, before taking her last breath....
