Eye For An Eye There’s something inherently creepy about Asian horror. From the original Ringu to the often overlooked Gonjiam Haunted Asylum, the tone and atmosphere of these films cannot be praised enough. Netflix’s latest Korean horror, The 8th Night, has both of these in abundance. It also comes armed with a pretty interesting story, let down slightly by a lack of characterization for some of the supporting players. While there’s no outright scary or freaky moments (and no jump scares to boot either), this is one moody horror....

While he boasts about their powers, we cut to Syria where Black Noir leads a bloody massacre against a super terrorist group known as “Narkeem.” Homelander meanwhile rallies the people to his cause through Translucent’s death....

BFFS Episode 5 of The Boys Presents: Diabolical begins with a girl called Sky scoring drugs from a dealer. However, en-route the car crashes and she’s forced out with her marijuana…and a serum from Compound V. She’s encouraged to take hit from the joint as her friends peer pressure her to get involved. That night though, Sky heads back home alone, takes the compound and ends up confronted with a mini poop, which Sky dresses up with eyelashes and a bow....

The moment Dot said “from my time in Iraq”, I knew there was something shady going on with her. Grace said the exact same thing in the dying moments of episode seven, and Dot repeating the same thing within the first ten of episode eight cannot be a coincidence....
Telling the true story of McDonalds, ‘The Founder’ is a fascinating look at the history behind the fast food giant. The biggest problem with ‘The Founder’, except for being obvious Oscar bait material when it released earlier this year, is that its very, very average. There’s nothing here that hasn’t been done better although if you were ever interested in the background to McDonalds then it is worth watching for that alone....
