Dragon Palace Episode 3 of Copenhagen Cowboy starts with Mother Hulda confronted by a whole bunch of gangsters, fronted by Mr Chiang, who bemoans her for leaving them waiting and dropping off a body for her to dispose of. This explains what she’s doing with the pigs in the back, as it seems they’ve been fed dead bodies. Much like with Rosella, there’s a seedy underbelly hidden from view. Chiang happens to run an underground fight club, while at Hulda’s Chinese restaurant she’s thanked by the new mother whom she sees off before they leave....

Cutie Pie Episode 3 Cutie Pie is a comedic romantic Thai drama, one that combines these elements with a simple but effective story. That plot centers on two sons who get engaged to each other. Only, one of them doesn’t want an arranged marriage, prompting the other to try and win him over. Step forward Hia Lian and Kuea Keerati, our two protagonists. The pair are fiancées with an age difference of 7 years but while everyone who meets them claims the pair are a “match made in heaven”, Lian doesn’t see it that way....

A Quick Paced Missed Opportunity Adapted from the popular manga with the same name, Netflix’s Death Note is a pale imitation with a frantic pace that leaves little time for characterisation or to explore its interesting premise. With a slightly convoluted plot, Death Note tries to imitate the manga with little success and what we end up with is a film that, with better script writing and a slower pace, could have been a great title but fails to deliver a compelling adaptation....
