Not The End We begin the season 1 finale of Valeria in the past with Valeria getting a job at the magazine and celebrating with Lola. Once there, she locks eyes with Adri and he snaps Valeria’s photos. Lola figures out what’s happening and lets them talk, as we see snapshots of their relationship through the years. It’s a beautiful montage but one that makes her recent affair all the more difficult to see occur....

The contractors reluctantly agree to have their temperatures taken by the security detail, before noticing Matteo Sponza attending the party too. We finally start to understand what happened in the past and what brought on our duo’s break up which is quite the tragic story, while Se-Hoon steps up his game with more blackmail for Ji-Soo. The characters all remain interesting enough while the narrative is starting to feel more tense and suspenseful. Episode 6 of When My Love Blooms begins where we last left off with Jae-Hyun wanting to keep his promise by giving Ji-Soo a guitar while Se-Hun watches them and takes pictures....

The identity of the Joker is finally revealed in the latest episode of When The Camellia Blooms and while we expected it to be Heung-Sik’s dad, the show managed to keep us guessing right up until the last minute thanks to another clever twist. The future of our two protagonists is up in the air though as Dongbaek had to make a very hard decision for the sake of her child, which was quite the emotional scene to watch....

Scrooge: A Christmas Carol doesn’t do a lot to deviate from the original story – which will be either a good or a bad thing, depending on your point of view – but thanks to the voicework and imaginative animation, it is still worth a watch, even if you know how the tale concludes. A perfective serviceable debut novel Given this is a debut novel, Terri Parlato’s All The Dark Places is a decent little thriller. All the usual hallmarks of the genre are in place, complete with a list of suspects whittled down over time, a self-doubting protagonist who’s also a victim, and a gruff detective desperate to get to the bottom of the case, but it’s enough of a page-turner to stick with until the end....
