A warmly sentimental movie ideal for a light-hearted watch Everybody has moments in their lives when they question whether things would have turned out differently if they had made a different choice. This is possibly what makes this tale, which analyses two parallel storylines simultaneously, so captivating. Sky gets a text from Prapai mentioning that he will not be able to meet Sky because of a race later that night. Prapai promises to bring Sky food after the race....

Reunions Episode 7 of Lovers of the Red Sky begins after our week’s hiatus with Eun-O launching himself at Prince Juhyang. Cheon-Jin is shocked and begs for mercy, knowing that his penalty could well be death. Well, Juhyang challenges her and suggests that Cheon-Ki be the one to pay instead. And the price? Giving up her hand. Thankfully Ha Ram steps up and saves her, pointing out Cheon-Ki’s talent and the 300 bags of rice he’s bought for her painting....

Hard To Be Honest Episode 15 of Lovestruck In The City begins with Jae-Won 10 minutes after kissing Eun-O. The only trouble is, Eun-O regrets kissing Jae-Won despite being the one to kiss him first. Speaking to the camera, she also admits that she regrets fishing the ring out too. Eun-O goes on to mention how she does like Jae-Won but also regrets what she’s done. Unfortunately all of this stems from Eun-O telling the truth – a truth she wanted to take to the grave....

What Do You Do With The Memory Box After Breaking Up? This simple question encapsulates the entirety of Lovestruck In The City episode 5 as we deep dive into the ensuing after-effects of a painful break-up and what to do with memories you hold dear with that person. Specifically, we begin 3 years ago where we follow Kang Geon and his girlfriend. Well, ex-girlfriend given they’ve broken up. In a very public area, she makes him remove his shoes, socks and jumper....

Somebody Stole My Camera! Episode 6 of Lovestruck In The City begins with us learning that Kang Geon and Eun-O are actually best friends. This raises an interesting question which forms the crux of this episode – how would you react to your significant other having a best friend of the opposite sex? As all our characters weigh in on this, we cut back in time with Rin-I protesting and finding a kindred spirit holding pickets regarding demolition of the rest area....

I’ll Forget It! I’ll Throw It Away Episode 7 of Lovestruck In The City begins at the police station with an argument breaking out; police officers struggle to hold back Seon-Yeong. Eventually though she passes out on the chairs in the waiting room. As fate would have it, a drunken Jae-Won shows up and begins weeping about how Seon-A took his heart. It turns out he’s a regular down at the station, and his current drunken antics are the sixth occasion there in a year....

While ‘Loving’ isn’t exactly a bad film, it isn’t a great one either. It’s simply a film that exists somewhere in the average/good land. It teases moments of greatness but never fully realises it’s potential in this slow-paced, biographical drama about an interracial couple. The story follows Richard (Joel Edgerton) and Mildred Loving (Ruth Negga), a real life inter-racial couple living in Virginia. They get married in Washington and begin living together as a married couple in Virginia only to find themselves arrested and later exiled from the state due to their relations being against state law....

Luckiest Girl Alive validates their bravery and strength for having survived one of the worst things a human can do to another. If there is one thing the film’s plot can be described as it is anything but straightforward. It is more of a zigzag line where you are constantly kept in the dark about what actually happened. This makes the setup for the third act quite interesting, although does not fully deliver on the promise....

Luckiest Girl Alive perhaps falls in the latter category. An impressive cast, a serious subject, and the burgeoning popular narrative tool of the voice-over – all signs were good. Inadvertently, though, the makers spoil the chance to split their film from the crowd that now stands in the cue for acceptance. And the sad fact is that everything happens due to the very nature of the plot. Luckiest Girl Alive has all the trappings of an intriguing story with palpable tension and suspense....

Reg informs her that he needs pieces of Faputa as a ransom for Nanachi and Mitty’s freedom from Belaf. Faputa will accept his offer if Reg can fulfill an old promise. As we all know, Reg doesn’t remember much about his past, including this promise to Faputa....

Cashmere Episode 4 of Maid Season 1 starts with Alex cooking breakfast for Maddy. She’s en-route to Sean’s house for Thanksgiving and thanks to Nate, she has some wheels now to get her there. He very clearly wants to get in her pants though, and encourages Alex to join him and his family for the holidays. Alex refuses though and remains fixated on turning her situation around, working hard and cleaning numerous houses before the holidays....

A surprisingly moreish tactical RPG Marvel has had a rocky ride in 2022, with its current crop of movies under re-evaluation after Phase 4. Meanwhile, the TV shows have failed to break into the top 5 on the Nielsen ratings. The gaming side of things has been equally as rocky, with highs like Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man somewhat overshadowed by stinkers like Marvel’s The Avengers. Midnight Suns then is a surprising way to round out 2022, with an accessible and surprisingly addictive tactical role-playing game that’s certainly one of the better offerings this year....

This was made clear when Jeff’s parents were first introduced, and established that his mother had been taking many pills on a daily basis while she was pregnant with Jeff. Moreover, we saw how his father treated him by ignoring his emotional needs, avoiding having difficult conversations with him, and instead moving him around. Naturally, we’re curious about what happens to his father after the police have taken Jeff into custody and how he handles the situation thereafter....
