Black & White The trouble with watching as much TV as I do is a lot of shows tend to feel very similar, making it incredibly difficult to find the next stand-out show in a given genre. Fortitude Episode 6 of WeCrashed begins with the aftermath of a big party at WeWork. Rebekah and Adam are both sprawled out on the sofa, marveling at a picture from Masa, praising Adam for being crazy. Star-crossed friends My Amanda is a slow-paced Filipino movie that’s elevated by the chemistry between its two lead actors. Without that, the rest of this screenplay fails to ignite any sort of excitement. An Unfortunate Misfire The Villa bills itself as a mystery thriller book but despite a promising premise, this one fails to live up to expectations. The problems with Rachel Hawkin’s latest book run deep, although to be fair I did read this in two sittings and felt compelled to get to the end, which is definitely something! The story here takes place across two timelines. In the present, Emily and Chess are reunited after a long absence....
