Episode 7 of King Maker: The Change of Destiny begins with Bong-Ryeon stepping forward and forcing all eyes to turn to In-Kyu when she mentions him locking up Chun-Joong unlawfully....

Despite a promising premise, great music and a strong opening half hour, cliche plot devices, under-developed characters and a plot ripped straight from the Alien franchise ultimately make this a sci-fi thriller lacking any sort of bite. The story follows six members on the International Space Station as they uncover a single celled being from a rogue satellite intercepted from its voyage on Mars. As they begin to research the creature, their methods have unintended side effects that eventually result in the being becoming hostile and more intelligent than anyone could have ever imagined....

Loki meanwhile, transports back inside too from his foray outside. He sports a knife and remains hot on Sylvie’s heels as she leaves devastation in her wake....

Playfully compelling, an editor falls into a novel and must wield her knowledge of romance scenarios to thwart the competition and win the guy. It’s a bit of a bother when she discovers that rather than the antagonist, she’s only a side character. But that won’t stop our heroine....

Pop Squad Pop Squad changes the direction of Love, Death & Robots to showcase more of the photo-real animation from last season. And wow, what an episode this is. We begin by following a group of cops arriving at a run-down house, fronted by cigarette smoking Briggs. While he takes a more gentle approach, the soldiers manhandle a woman named Ruth who pleads with him to feed the kids as they haven’t had breakfast....

Spear Episode 4 of Love Alarm Season 2 begins with a beautiful hand-drawn segment as Jojo finds herself at a crossroads, unsure which path to take. As she checks both ways, we cut back to the present. Sun-O tells Jojo to look in her heart and understand where her feelings really lie. As the rain starts pouring, neither of them have an umbrella and end up getting absolutely drenched. Jojo heads back inside though and receives a message from Hye-Yeong, mentioning this very fact....

Love All Play Episode 11 Love All Play is the latest romantic sport drama. Also known as (the far less catchy) Going to You at a Speed of 493 km, this K-drama depicts the passion and affection for badminton from the eyes of a male and female protagonist, who work on a mixed doubles team. First up is Park Tae-Joon (Chae Jong-Hyeop) who ended up part of badminton thanks to his parents’ badminton equipment business....

Love in Contract Episode 13 Love in Contract bills itself as a fun and vibrant romantic K-drama. The protagonist here is Cho Sang-Eun, an attractive woman with talent and charm. She works as part of a helper service that provides wives to single people needing partners to take to gatherings specifically tailoring for married couples, like school reunions. Cho Sang-Eun is good at her job but she ends up getting involved with Jung Ji-Ho and Kang Hae-Jin, juggling her time between the two guys on different days of the week....

Magnus HBO Max’s latest rom-com Love Life returns this week with its first of 3 episodes dropping in one hit. Much like before, the format remains largely unchanged as a romantically hopeless Anna Kendrick finds herself mixed up with another man who just isn’t the right fit for her. With more depth given to the ongoing woes of Sara and her partner Jim, along with a cliffhanger ending that leaves things wide open for episode 5, Love Life delivers a pretty good episode here....

According to him, a healthy break-up leads to a healthy relationship in the future. This healthy breakup includes breaking up to their face, not by phone or text message. On the back of this, all of our characters debate over whether there really is a healthy way to break up with someone....

Dollar Store Episode 1 of Maid begins with a woman named Alex snatching up her daughter Maddy and taking off in the middle of the night. Broken glass glitters like diamonds on the floor but she ignores all of this, intent on hurrying away from her partner, Sean. Halfway up the road, Alex runs out of gas, prompting her to stop by the station to fill up. With $18.00 to her name, slick expository text shows how quickly Alex’s remaining cash goes down....

Putting The Pieces Together Following the dramatic ending to yesterday’s episode, Manhunt returns for its conclusive finale to this police procedural. While the case itself is resolved in its entirety, Manhunt fails to give a satisfying finish to Colin Sutton’s familial drama. Still, for the most part this third episode continues the great work done leading up to this point, weaving a web of realistically depicted detective work in the process....

Three Wise Men As we start gearing up to the finale, Manifest returns for another episode that furthers the mystery box hanging over this season. With the hint that Zeke may meet an untimely demise in the near future and questions swarming around what the true meaning of the Callings really are, there’s plenty left unanswered in Manifest as it appears we’re frustratingly no closer to an answer over any of the big mysteries in the show....
