Two competitors remain for this final challenge – Sang-Woo and Gi-Hun. It all comes down to this. They’re going to play squid and each will be on opposing sides of offense or defence. Gi-Hun however, chooses offense. With the VIPs watching from above with interest, the Front Man adds extra narration, confirming that this game is the most physical and violent from childhood days....

Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 Episode 7 Now onto its third season, Lower Decks has been one of the more successful and popular Star Trek spin-offs. With Paramount+ putting faith in this project, prior to release they’ve promised a resolution to that shocking cliffhanger last season. Of course, expect the usual blend of comedy hijinks in here too! Interestingly, the trailer also seems to show the appearance of Deep Space Nine too, which should cause some intriguing implications for the crew....

A Comedy-Horror with a Touch of Romance Wrapped in a Ball of Crazy It takes a few minutes to figure out the real protagonist of Sugar Street Studio. We start with a shyster movie producer who borrows money from a loan shark to make a D-movie that he may or may not be serious about. To avoid losing a digit or a nipple, he proposes his money-making epiphany. Take the mob boss’s news-worthily (and perpetually empty) haunted restaurant and turn it back into its original form – a haunted movie studio....

A team of the most dangerous, iconic villains in the DC universe in one place teaming up to destroy a big bad evil, what could go wrong? A lot, is the regrettable answer to that and its a shame because there are glimmers of brilliance here. The first third in particular is well paced, designed and feels like a good fun film. Somewhere around the middle act, the film does a complete 180 and what we get is a bland, emotionless film that doesn’t quite know what it wants to be....

The Truth About Seung-Jae Episode 5 of Sweet Home begins with Eun-Hyeok calling for Hyun-Soo and taking him out of isolation. It turns out he’s going to be doing all the dangerous work from now on and that includes finding Doo-Sik and saving him from his predicament. As we cut back to Doo-Sik, he deliberates with the bathroom, a task made more difficult when he remembers Myung-Sook’s story about her daughter....

The More Things Change Episode 3 of Sweet Magnolias Season 2 begins with the State championship team returning from State. It’s the first time the Bulldogs have made it this far but they’ve come up short. Cal blames himself. When Maddie notices him having a tantrum, he eventually apologizes for his attitude. Ty returns home after the tournament and he’s not happy either. He takes out the loss on Kyle, claiming it’s his fault he messed up his elbow, given he was protecting him at the hospital....

Chapter 12: Catching Tails With Ji-A’s parents returning, episode 12 of Tale of the Nine Tailed begins with a happy reunion as Ji-A learns more about what happened to her Mother and Father. Although it’s been 20 years, for them the accident only felt like yesterday. Ji-A then phones her puppy and thanks him for bringing back her parents. As they Facetime each other, she thanks him and says goodbye....

The Sith Lord Episode 4 of Tales of the Jedi begins at the Jedi temple, as Count Dooku sneaks through to the archives suspiciously. He deletes everything to do with Planet Kamino, and shuffles away. It would appear that Qui-Gon has encountered a Sith Lord off on Tatooine, which has become the talk of the town in the council. Word travels fast, and as Qui-Gon returns, Dooku questions what happened. Master Yaddle is there to oversee proceedings and listens as Qui-Gon sings the praises of Obi-Wan, whom is now by his side as an Apprentice....

The End Of U Data Episode 8 of Taxi Driver begins with Doo-Chul chuckling to himself as he steals a car and heads straight for Sung-Chul’s house. Chairman Baek is informed of Do-Chul’s actions and realizes Sung-Chul could be in danger. Well, Sung-Chul has issues of his own, as he learns that Blue Bird are on the verge of losing funding. Out on the road, we return to the car chase, with U Data’s men ramming into Ha-Na’s car from either side....

Although he isn’t in trouble yet, things look bleak for him. Stephen and Lucy’s relationship is the strongest it has ever been. Kristy’s Great Idea Based on the book series of the same name, The Baby-Sitters Club is a colourful, vibrant re-imagining of the book series that sold over 176 million copies. Admittedly, having not read the books I’m not sure how close to the source material this stays but based on the first episode alone, the show certainly channels some great charisma and ideas that feel like they’ve jumped right from the pages of a book....

Dawn and the Impossible Three Episode 5 of The Baby-Sitters Club sees the pendulum swing toward new girl Dawn. She and Mary Anne discuss their parents’ newfound blossoming romance before turning their attention toward the BSC. Mary Anne invites Dawn into the group but some initial reservations from Kristy cause her to be taken on in a probationary position. Unfortunately this also comes with the toughest babysitting job – the troublesome Barrett’s....

During a hostage situation, Homelander refuses to follow orders and instead jumps in himself to the thick of the action. Gunshots thwart their threat but unfortunately Homelander kills one of the hostages, courtesy of his laser eyes....
