The Car Chase Back for another chapter, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay returns with an intriguing episode as Moon-Young carries on chasing after Kang-Hae while still tackling some serious mental health issues. Episode 3 of It’s Okay To Not Be Okay starts as Moon-Young arrives in Ok hospital and comes face to face with Kang-Hae, who tells him she missed him. Ju-Ri heads downstairs and is surprised to see the two together....

The Jinn Awakens Netflix’s first Arab-original series Jinn is an interesting and teen-orientated show that blends horror, fantasy and teen angst into 5 episodes of supernatural drama. While some of the acting is a little wonky at times and the teen drama feels like well-trodden ground, following in the footsteps of The Order, Sabrina and Riverdale before it, if you can look past that there’s enough originality with the premise to make it a series worth checking out....

The End Of The World On the back of the previous disappointing episode, Jinn gets us started with a better paced slice of drama and a return to more of the supernatural mystery we experienced at the start of the series. We begin with Ms. Ola driving Hassan to Petra in order to stop the spirits from being released. As they drive, Hassan thanks her for being supportive and promises that this will help clear her name too before showing her a news report depicting she’s to blame for Tareq’s death....

She holds her hand and promises to be there for her. In September, Seo-Jin heads to the police station and asks about Jin Ho and Song-Ja. The latter definitely hasn’t been a missing person case there but Jin Ho has still fallen to his death and they’ve chalked this up to a suicide....

A below-average Malaysian thriller There have been a number of big movies depicting a deadly game played in exchange for money or a big prize. In 2019 we had Escape Room. 2016 saw us graced with Nerve, a neon-drenched mediocre thriller. Further back you’ll find the psychologically twisted Exam (2009), the craze of the Saw franchise and 1997’s fantastic The Game, to name but a few. The point I’m trying to make here is that this idea of a protagonist thrown into a series of deadly games or fighting for money is nothing new in this space....

The central character here is Kinn, the second son of the mafia who finds himself running into Porsche while trying to escape. A business deal goes awry and he only just survives. Porsche is a college student who works as a barman part-time. He’s an orphan, who single-handedly looks after his brother Chay, as well as being known as an underground boxer called The Phoenix....

The show takes us back two months earlier, in November. Miranda reported Zoe’s murder, and police surrounded the building, marking it as a crime scene. Helena, Heitor, Rafael and Miranda all look devastated by Zoe’s death. This becomes another puzzle to solve on who could have shot Zoe and why. The homicide detective interrogates Miranda, and she reveals that she’s working for Heitor. From her Late mother to the client in Cleo’s apartment, Diana and now Zoe, Miranda, seems to keep finding dead bodies....

That doesn’t necessarily make it a bad one....

Coffee With Sugar Episode 5 of Law School begins with Sol-B coming to blows with Professor Kang, challenging him over the decision not to have laptops in class. In fact, he even outright calls her the worst student he’s ever had. As we soon come to learn, Sol-B is the one wrapped up in this plagiarism incident, responsible for copying and publishing Byung-Ju’s work. The file on the computer was actually Yang’s interpretation and views on this incident....

With the talent involved in the project and the promise shown in the early trailers, Legend Of Tarzan should be a sure-fire hit. Its story is rather formulaic though and its attempts to implement a number of sub-plots woven in the story mainly fail to impress. There’s potential here for a good film but like the colour palette that inhabits the film, it just feels so bland and emotionless you’ll find it hard to care by the end of the film....

The Beginning Is The End When it comes to a hedonistically charged, trippy and weird show like Legion, how do you wrap up 3 seasons in a way that’ll please everyone? It’s a tough ask to say the least and Legion both succeeds and fails with its final episode. Although all the plot threads are completely wrapped up by the end, including individual character journeys, the anticlimactic manner this is presented will likely divide the fanbase....
